Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take custom orders?
We LOVE custom orders! If you saw something at one of our pop-up shows, social media channels, or in our project gallery and you want us to recreate it with (or without) a few tweaks, we're happy to do it. Even if it's something you haven't seen from us, just drop us a line with your ideas and we'll work with you to bring them to life. Reach out to us here!

What is the turnaround time on a custom order?
Our normal lead time is 3-6 weeks depending on the size of the job and the shop's current workload; longer turnaround times can be expected during the holiday season. If you need something sooner, drop us a line and we'll see if we can work something out!

When is your next pop-up event?
Visit our events page and give us a like & follow on Facebook for the most up-to-date information on any upcoming events!

Do you offer pickup or delivery?
Local pickup and/or delivery is available by appointment to our customers who live in Austin County and surrounding areas. Please reach out to us via e-mail to make arrangements.

Do you use stains or dye to achieve the coloring in the wood?
All of our products that come in contact with food (charcuterie boards, serving trays, carving boards, etc.) are not dyed, stained, or painted in any way. Those gorgeous colors (yes, even the purples!) are natural properties of the wood we've used. Hitting them with a bit of cutting board oil or wax (both 100% food safe) really makes the colors pop!

Our other products (games, furniture, décor pieces) can be stained, painted, or varnished to your liking. Just let us know what you're looking for and we'll make it happen!

How do I take care of my charcuterie board / serving tray / carving board / cutting board?
Tiptop Woodshop handcrafts each of our pieces with great care to ensure they are built to last for many years to come. Check out this page for our recommendation on how to properly clean and maintain your Tiptop Woodshop board to ensure it stays in Tiptop shape!
